Well, I started my first college job this weekend! That’s right; I’m a grown up. I am still kind of sad because I really thought I was going to get this awesome job as an editor for BYU Independent Study, but I didn’t…but that’s okay because I did get a job (which was the main goal of the year)

I am now an official employee of BYU Catering. That’s right; sounds prestigious. I worked on Saturday for the football game in the Legacy Tent (sounds snazzy, right?) Pretty much, there’s this HUGE tent next to the stadium that we decorated in BYU blue and white where alumni and “contributors” to the team can come before the game and we serve them a buffet of yummy food (I was in charge of salads). Then, they go out to the stadium for kick off while we clean out all the food set up for lunch and replace it with popcorn, hotdogs, burgers, and other yummy, football related treats (I got to leave after this set up). They eat this stuff at half time, leave again and then we set up stuff for a big dinner buffet. Those alumni (alumnus? alumnae?) eat well on game days. (I know—I got to eat left overs).

Sadly, BYU lost to Nevada on Saturday…up side? I made money!!
