My exciting Week:

Well, last week was pretty wicked…

On Monday for FHE, we took “family pictures” and I printed them out as Christmas cards!! We’re gonna write notes for the parents of all the kids in our group and then send them with the Christmas picture! Good idea? I thought so. Here are some of my fave pics that we got:

And here are some Roomie Pics (have we all seen that SNL skit, cuz it’s hilarous):    CIMG1181

Then on Friday, I went to Outback wit Madisen and we watched Crazy/Beautiful (which was a really weird movie…) and just hung out and chatted, so that was nice. On Saturday, I went shopping with Madisen (don’t worry, I didn’t purchase anything) and then I went to the Ward Talent Show with Andrew.  Then we watched Iron Man with Michelle and Michael. It was a super fun week and now I’m just waiting for my ride to come pick me up so I can go to Boise!!!! I’m so excited!!

I’M SORRY I’M SORRY I’M SORRY!!

Please forgive me….I’m not posting til TUESDAY!? Ridiculous. But I’m still doing my highlight from last week, and expect a Sunday post on the 22nd, like normal…

Okay, so last week, my exciting story is that I went to go see Harry Potter 6 with some pretty awesome people:

1. Melissa—My absolutely awesome roomie who’s actually never seen any of the Harry Potters all the way through. How has she been living her life? I don’t know. She’s only seen part of the 2nd one in Spanish class, so I was pretty much explaining the whole thing to her throughout.

2. Scott—My FHE son who looks EXACTLY like Harry Potter (see last post if you’re confused). He sat next to me and at the end of the movie, when Dumbledore is drinking the potion, I heard him sniffling, so I turned to him and said, “Scott, are you crying?” and he said, “No, are you?” and I said “umm….” and Melissa said “Yea she is!!” haha. But I feel cool because I watched Harry Potter WITH Harry Potter….

3. Andrew—Also and FHE son…but let’s not call him my son because he’s pretty much super attractive…. :) (Again, see last post-there’s a picture of him and I together).

4. Carter—FHE son, who thinks he’s a gangster, but Melissa and I think he’s really just a paper gangster (see Lady GaGa song…)

5. Trenton—FHE son; he was distracting Melissa during the movie…okay, maybe not “distracting” but he kept telling her things in the movie and she’d laugh and I was like, “Guys! Snape has just betrayed the Order of the Phoenix!” (that’s a fictional example).

It was really fun. I enjoyed it just as much as the first time (just kidding Nolan, it was way funnier when I watched it with you!! haha).  But the bummer was that half-way through the movie, I got a bloody nose!! I think I’ve only gotten a bloody nose one other time in my life (at my senior awards ceremony…never very good timing) and lost time I saw HP 6 I had the worst case of the hiccups all day. I don’t know what it is about HP, but something weird always happens when I go to watch him…weird.

Picture Scavenger Hunt

Since Ashley complained about me posting MONDAY instead of SUNDAY, I thought I’d make up for it by posting a second one this week…I know, ambitious.

So, this week for FHE we had a picture scavenger hunt! It was super fun…here are some of my face pictures from the night:CIMG1133

This is probably my fave—this is my son, Scott, who looks like Harry Potter standing next to a poster of Harry Potter…I know there’s a glare, but just look at that resemblance!! They’re even both wearing red jackets!!

In front of a movie theater…I just think this one is so funny cuz all the boys are making the funniest faces and Melissa and Sarah are just smiling…hahaha.

Anyway, sorry for the overload of pictures, but it was a super fun night!

Rexburg for the Weekend

So, this weekend I was in…Rexburg!! :) Amy and I drove up there on Friday after PS so that she could visit her sister in Idaho Falls and I could visit Kelsey (friend from Mesa) who’s going to school at BYU-I.  We all went out to dinner together at Red Robin (which made me think of RaeAnn, Paul, Kenna, and Jason…just fyi). Then, I spent the night in Rexburg—Kelsey and I stayed up late watching Just like Heaven and The Proposal and just chit-chatting :)

On Saturday we went to 2 soccer games that Kelsey’s roommate was playing in and then we went to the Harvest Bread Co. (which made me think of Whole Grain) and got some yummy soup and bread.  Then we met up with Amy and her sister and played some card games and went to a cupcake place called “The Cocoa Bean” (or something like that). They had the best cupcakes EVER and yummy steamers too (I guess it’s that time of year RaeAnn!)

Then I spent the night at Amy’s sister’s house and we watched The Office from last week and just hung out and then drove back to Provo…. It was a fun trip!

Halloween in Tooele

Well, this weekend, Danny and Sarah were nice enough to let me crash their Halloween party since I was all alone in Provo. Plus I was going a little crazy; I needed a trip out of my apartment and away from BYU students.  Danny came and picked me up on Friday morning.  We got to Tooele just in time for some yummy lunch and then I got to have some quality play-time with Donald while the other kids were playing with their cousins.  Man, that little boy REALLY likes his cars/trucks/helicopters/all forms of transportation. And he loves to wrestle…and climb on top of my stomach when I’m laying on the ground and then jumping off. He could probably do that all night. Anyway, I had lots of fun playing with Donald.

On Saturday, for breakfast we had ORANGE pancakes…that’s right. They were good. Then we got everyone ready in their costumes (I wish I’d remembered to bring my camera!! We’ll all just have to check Sarah’s blog for pictures, hopefully).  Rebecca had me do her hair and make-up for her (she was a clown).  Then we had lunch with Sarah’s sister’s and their fams.  Then we hit up the trunk-or-treat (which I remember being much more exciting when I was a young one) and then I took Rebecca and Sherri trick or treating. I was having a lot of flashbacks all day of when we lived in Boise and RaeAnn would get me all ready for halloween (especially like 5th grade) and I wanted her to hang out with all of my friends and stuff like that. Anyway, it was lots of fun to go trick or treating with them, I hope they had fun too.  But I did feel kind of old for the first time.

I came back to Provo on Sunday and got to drive a car for the first time since August! I hadn’t realized how much I missed driving, but it was lovely to be in the car alone for an hour with just my thoughts and the road. Don’t make fun of me…haha.  And when I got home we started our roast and rolls for Sunday dinner, which was delicious if I do say so myself.

All in all, a great weekend.
