Back to School...

So, on Monday I had my first day at Rocky Mountain High School. The school is really big. I heard that the lot the school is on is the biggest in the Northwest, so that is a little crazy. Despite the size of the building, the school population is pretty small. There are only 120 students in my senior class which is crazy because at Mountain View my junior class had around 900 students. BIG difference...haha. My classes are pretty good, and since I don't have any math classes I am pretty sure I won't have a lot of homework this year.
The way exciting news is that I finally got a job!! I've been looking and applying all summer, and I just had an interview this morning at Blue Sky Bagels. They called me about 20 minutes after the interview and told me that I had the job. I'm way excited, it seems alot like the bakery I worked at in Arizona, except with bagels. And my whole interview was talking about physics because I told the interviewer that I was going to major in physics/calc. and I guess he's a big physics guy so we talked about it the whole time. I thought Danny would like that! haha. Well, just thought I'd update everyone.

DQ: The Aimee-Brooke-Kimberly Way

Aimee, Brooke and I went to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and then decided to make a quick trip through the DQ drive-in that turned into a full night event. We got our food and started driving away, when Brooke spilled her lemonade in the car (she spilled the whole cup) so we had to turn around and go back to get some napkins and ask for a new lemonade. While we were cleaning up the mess, I realized that my Butterfinger Blizzard was tasting very much like the Banana Blizzard that Aimee had ordered...this is a glimpse of what my face looked like when I'd realized they'd messed up my order...
Once we got everything figured out, we decided it would be safest to finish our chicken wings and fries in the parking lot, and we got a little bit loopy...
But they DQ guy sure seemed to like us. He kept coming out to make sure that we had gotten all the lemonade cleaned up, and then he came out to say goodbye when his shift was over. It was a pretty fun night. :)

EFY in Flagstaff

Alright, continuing the catch up on blogging. So the week before we moved up to Idaho, I went to EFY with my friends Megan, Leslie, Saudalia, and Camille. (Leslie wants to be a photographer, so she had us taking all sorts of posed shots like this)
Megan was my roommate, this is a picture of her and me.

My group was REALLY cool. Everyone, but me, lived in the Mesa-Gilbert-Chandler area, so we all had friends of friends and stuff. Plus, everyone was just really funny and cool and we all got along. This is a picture of my group. And here's a picture of me with the CUTEST guy in my group, named Brady! (I know I'm a teenage girl, but whatever. He is so cute!)
And then, the morning that we were leaving EFY, all of our group met up at a restaurant to eat breakfast together.

Last Week in Mesa

It seems that there is much I need to post about, so let us begin. As you probably know, my dad and I moved back to Boise this summer. Before we left, my friend Laura had a big goodbye party for me. All of my friends wrote a memory they had of me and she put it together with some pictures into a binder for me. It was really sweet.
I also had lunch with my favorite girls from work (everyone but Anna...) at Sweet Cakes. I sure will miss there BLT's with Avocado...
Then, Amy, Brenton, Madisen and I made homemade potato chips (it's been a dream of mine to try to make them.) They were pretty good but really salty. Here's a picture of the 4 chefs in our awesome aprons.
And here's a sample of our masterpiece...

And then I got to hang out for one last time with all my Mesa buddies (except Kelsey, who was already in Idaho for college).
Here's a shot of Melissa and I:
We made ice cream shakes, watched the boys play some basketball, and (as always) sat around the Monks' table.
On my last sunday before I left for EFY, I played Ticket to Ride with Laura, Stacey, Amber, and Haley for the last time. And I actually won (which is a first!!) I was yellow, just incase you were wondering...

Okay, so I am sorry that there has been no posting for quite some time. I couldn't remember my password (which is kind of my curse in the blogging world) and so I couldn't get on my blog...but I have it all figured out and I will start posting again!! Promise!!
