Story of the Week #3: My Day in Arizona

Well, I think all of you who read my blog know this, but I was in Arizona for a day! It was a pretty spontaneous trip. Melissa called me before my Psych class on Friday and said, “Will you come to Arizona with me tonight?” so I asked Dad and he said “oh…okay…” So we packed and left and by three in the morning, there we were: Mesa, Arizona.  I slept in pretty late on Saturday because I’ve been feeling sick and I was exhausted from getting in so late.  I went and saw my high school friend, Laura, who’s going to ASU, and then Aunt Mae and Preston picked me up to go to Queen Creek with them. I got to see Whitney and Stelios, because they were in town, and got to see all of Tawny's family.  We had a bbq and played some card games and just got to hang out. Then I went back to Melissa’s, woke up at 7 and got ready to head back to school…

I hope no one ever tries to tell me I’m not spontaneous, because I will just tell them this story. :)

You're not spontaneous! Hahah! Just kidding. Sounds like a lot of driving. Puts into perspective me whining about a four hour drive to Boise! Glad you got to see the family though. And I am sure Melissa appreciated you going. Hope your feeling better, and Congrats on skipping your first college class!

only the most spontaneous people have a story ready to tell people that accuse them of not being spontaneous. (i was so worried about you guys driving so far and late, but dad was cool with it?)
