You can't come alone. An unmarried woman of certain age, unescorted, wearing the clothes you tend to wear. People will think things, bad things.

Lorelia: What things?
Mrs. Kim: Like you're a tramp and possibly for sale.

WEDDING NUMBER 3
That's right party people, this weekend I got to go to another wedding for another best friend...this time it was for my BFF Brooke! It was an emotional ride and definitely one of the most jam-packed weekends of my life.We arrived at 1 AM on Friday...We did some bachelorette party shopping (boas, crown, etc.), watched a little Supernatural, and then went to the bachelorette party. We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and then went to Aunt Mae's basement for some quality time. We played this game where we asked Keith a bunch of questions and Brooke had to try and give us his answers. If she got them wrong, she had to stick a huge piece of bubbliscious bubble gum in her mouth...it got pretty disgusting. On Saturday, we got up early and went to the temple for the sealing. While the sealing was going on, I went and saw Amy for a little bit. I made it back in time for the temple pictures (of course, I didn't bring my camera and facebook will no longer let me save pictures to my computer so...sorry you'll have to look elsewhere for those). Then we had a yummy luncheon (thank you Keith's family) and I got in a quick nap before going to Scottsdale with Emily, Sam, and Brett. There is this awesome restaurant there where Sam and Emily go every time they come home to get creme brule (which is to DIE for, apparently). We also got some yummy bread, but no one liked their crust so they all piled it on my plate for me to eat.And then there were these ducks there and Brett was throwing pieces of food to them. But then he hit one of the ducks right in the face with a piece of fortune cookie...yes we were those people. Then we went to the reception! We got to wait in line to see Brooke, then they cut the cake. It was adorable. They did the bouquet toss (don't worry, I caught it) and then the guarder toss and then they had their first dance. (this is when the waterworks took control). It was a very fun and so cute and it was great to see Brooke so extremely happy! After the wedding, a bunch of people came over to Aunt Mae's, where we played the picture telephone game. It was definitely hilarious. I got to bed around 1 and had to get up to leave bright and early in the morning. Of course, the trip is never long enough, but it was so fun and I was so glad I got to be there to see beautiful Brooke Farnsworth :)

"I have the prettiest mother in the whole world"

^that quote really has nothing to do with my post except that it's from The Bad Seed and Lorelai quotes it and it has become of favorite of mine and Emily's...and we were quoting it on our drive to....
ARIZONA!!
the place I love and miss. often. Last night, Sam, Emily and I drove down to AZ for my friend Brooke's wedding (which is tomorrow). First off, the road trip was great because I got sunflower seeds and we listened to The Format as we drove into Phoenix (at 1 in the AM). There was some serious nostalgia in the car. As soon as I got to my aunt's house I couldn't help but smile; I love this house! So many memories...it definitely feels like coming home. I also got a text from Aunt Mae saying "there are hot wings and egg rolls in the freezer!" Gotta love that Aunt of mine!
Today we're going to have a bachelorette party for Brooke at Cheesecake factory (love) and possibly some Panda Express (double love)! Tomorrow I get to go to Mesa and see Amy and Kelsey really quick before I get to see Brooke come out of the temple. Then it will be lots of partying and celebrating their LOVE!

She says Offspring sucks and Metallica rules...

Ahh!! This posting everyday is hard...here's 2 in one:
Lately I am loving OLD SCHOOL hip-hop. I think the inspiration was listening to old faves at New Year's to find a music video option (still sad we didn't get to that). So it's been a lot of Still DRE, Just a Friend, Save the Last Dance Soundtrack, Back That Thing Up, and The Real Slim Shady (Christina Aguilara version) as of late. I hope we're all enjoying the additions I've been making to my blog playlist!
I'm also LOVING music rescue (thank you Emily) which has helped me finally fill my itunes! I have gone through SO many computers on my one ipod and I was so sad that all the free itunes songs I had been accumulated did not get transferred from my old laptop to the new one! But, with music rescue, I now have all my songs (old and new) on the itunes (that sounded like a commercial) and I have been loving life!
Finally, I'm loving the music from SUPERNATURAL (could a post really go without it?). It's all like AC/DC, Metallica, Rush, etc. SO GREAT!! I have been trying to find a soundtrack out there, but have yet been unsuccessful...let me know if you see anything and I will be loving you!! :)

Wow, you can eat...Yes I can! Oh wait, that's probably not a good thing...

Week of Love: Day 2
Today, I must proclaim my love for....... (drum roll please)

CHEX MIX!! I don't know if everyone knows, but ever since RaeAnn made Chex Mix for Christmas last year (and I ate the whole batch while watching Scrouged even though I was stuffed from going out to dinner) I have been so in love with Chex Mix. It's my favorite treat ever! I decided to make Chex Mix for the superbowl on Sunday since we have a whole bottle of Worcestershire sauce and nothing to do with it. Well, I cannot lie, I made one batch and it was basically gone by the end of the night, so then I made another batch which was also quickly depleted, but it did make it to Sunday. Then, yesterday, I got a package from RaeAnn (have I mentioned how much I love my sister for starting/supporting my addiction?) containing CHEX MIX!! I was soooo happy!! It also had mini Reese's (my favorites) and a BSU shirt.
Well, it seems as though the Provo Postal workers did not appreciate enemy paraphernalia crossing into BYU territory, because it kind of looks like someone ran over my shirt multiple times with their mailman car....you can't really see it in this picture, but it's pretty hilarious. No worries, I will still wear it and stay true to B-Town! :)
