It's like a fairy tale, and I saw it all happen...

Week of Love: Day 1
Well, my sister Ashley has started a tradition of doing a "week of love" for the 7 days leading up to Valentine's Day on her blog. Since one of my best friends, Brooke, is getting married this weekend and I have so much love on the brain, I thought I would partake....
I have to give Day 1 to Emily and Sam....my newest source of entertainment. I know we've been hearing a lot about them lately, but you have no idea how great they are!!Emily has been one of my best friends for a VERY long time. I remember making up very creative games to play every day in the summers with her and Brooke (paper people, clue (not playing the actually game, just playing with the pieces), Barbie, etc.). And we've been close friends ever since then. I can always tell Emily all my problems and we always LOVE to be crazy together!!Her and Sam's wedding (in which I got to be a bridesmaid :) ) was at the beginning of last September. They just moved down to Provo at the beginning of winter semester.As you know, we've been enjoying Supernatural and I am slowing building up a list of more shows to get them addicted to (thank you instant play on Netflix). We also love playing Scategories and Sequence, baking, working out at the Smith Fieldhouse, and grocery shopping (just em and I do that, but you know). Last night we even watched the Super Bowl together (I am pretty much positive it's the first time I've ever watched it for more than the half time show)! And this weekend we're all driving down to AZ together for Brooke and Keith's wedding! Anyway...they're just very fun/funny and I LOVE having them in P-Town!
(yes, this is the only picture I have of Sam, sorry for duplicating it so quickly)

If Lorelai says that the mushroom and the pepperoni are in a fight and has the pepporoni ask you what you think, don't just laugh...

...answer the pepperoni.

Well, this week...Emily Sam and I definitely partook in the watching of a lot of Supernatural. We have officially moved into the 5th disk of season 2. And it is great. SO great!
We also made some REALLY yummy cinnamon/marshmallow treats (okay, that may have been last week, but I haven't posted the pictures yet!)We also went to a way yummy Mexican restaurant on Friday with Melissa and Nick, and BOY was it delicious!! And autentic :)
We also went to Borders and then we watched Hook with some friends from my ward (I say friends, but I really only knew Paul...who invited me). Oh, and I introduced Sam and Emily to Iceberg, where we got the biggest/best shakes EVER. And I got them hooked on Facebook's Family Feud (gosh I am such a good influence, right?!)
Also this week, I signed a contract for housing for next Fall/Winter. Though signing such a big check did make me so sick that I wanted to go home and cry, I am very excited to live there next semester and I have a good feeling about it, so be excited with me! :)

"I'm not fighitng you...

it'd be like fighting an accountant. I'll let you know when I need my taxes done." -Dean

This semester, there has been a new addition to Provo (which has helped ease the pain of the loss of Amy (who graduated)): Sam and Emily! I'm probably already driving Sam crazy by occupying much of his wife's time, but it has been GREAT to have them here. We've already done loads of fun things like:

Taking Funny Face Pictures--->
Going to the BYU-TCU Basketball Game
--->

and....Watching Supernatural (which is the reason for the tough-guy Dean quote that started off this post)--->...it's a super great show, with super cute guys...
I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Look who's back!

"Why I believe it's those adorable Gilmore Girls."

That's right, that's right, I'm back in Provo and back in school. It was kind of a rocky first week back as I had to shift around my schedule and be truly humbled as I realized I'd forgotten pretty much every bit of Spanish I once knew (this was found out as I arrived upon my first Spanish class and couldn't understand anything my teacher was saying, as she refused to speak in English). I'm still kind of stressing as I try to set up homework things for my classes and get someone to cover my shift so I don't have to miss my new class that I still haven't gone to once (if there are any BYU catering employees out there, give me a holla!), but this weekend was very nice because I got to escape from all that and go to the most magically place in the world (or maybe Utah). That's right: Tooele.
Danny and Sarah let me drive their car up from Provo to Tooele on Friday so I could visit for the weekend. They made me lots of yummy food, we played some Mario Kart (Danny's a little sore from all the kicking of his trash that I did), and I got to go to Adrian's first Junior Jazz Basketball game! It was great fun to see him hustle up and down the court...and even score a basket!! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend!
I know, I know...I need to take more pictures!
